Do not use. Go elsewhere or face regret. Reserved online. At pickup the desk agent used false statement to try upsell me everything possible. Falsely claimed my premium credit card benefits did not apply. Changed my return time forcing me to call the 800 number to get corrected. Upon return the recipient was 50% higher than my prepaid reservation. Another 20 minutes on hold with the 800 number and getting the run around like I was at a flea market in Mumbai. Do lot rent from this location or you will regret it. I am a constant traveler and disregarded the other negative reviews. Don’t fall for their scam!

The reservation was made through Expedia. When we arrived to get the car the front desk clerk assigned us a car and we went to it the car was dirty, had dents and scratches all over, windows were smudged and it was an older model. I took pictures(red car in the picture below). We were about to go back and complain and ask for another car when another agent Nisha Harvey came over to offer assistance when she saw us looking at the car confused. We showed her our rental agreement and then she looked at the car assigned and was like she had never seen that car before and our agreement would be for a car on the other end, not that section. She took care of us and made sure we had a proper car. She restored my faith in Thrifty!!!! She turned what would have been a one star rating into a 5 star rating. We were even able to see her when we returned the car and she asked if everything went well. Thank you Nisha! P.S. the car Nisha assigned us is the black one.

Reserved a Toyota Tacoma knowing the exact vehicle might not be available, but expected something similar. Instead, I was given a Dodge Ram 2500, which is not comparable at all — especially on gas for a Florida road trip. I was told my only other option was paying extra for a different vehicle. After a long back-and-forth, they found a Dodge 1500, but I still had to pay an additional $180 on top of my original reservation. Staff was polite, but the whole experience was frustrating and far more expensive than expected.

Renting the thrifty was great. I arrived at 8:00 in the morning and everything was ready as planned. I asked for help honest debating prices for extending my rental, and customer service agent than excellent job of helping me estimate various options

Thrifty charged me $29/day more because I rented an upgraded vehicle. At no time did they ask if I wanted an upgrade, they told me where to find the vehicle based on a license plate and a stall number. The stall number did not match where the vehicle was actually located, so maybe that's why I got charged a higher rate....? I have worked with Thrifty customer service and they have corrected the issue. I have raised them from a 1 star to a 5 star. They went above and beyond what I expected and that means something to me!!!
