Do not book a car rental here. Save your money & time. Please go somewhere else. The person at the front desk gave me attitude because I’m rightfully disappointed that the car I booked was unavailable. She stated “that particular car has not been available at this location for weeks” okay…sooo why didn’t you call me to notify me at least the day before that this car will not be available. Where is your professionalism? Or least make some sort accommodation similar to car I had planned to booked. I don’t understand how this company cannot be customer service forward & allow me can cancel the reservation and book either at another location or a different rental company. It’s completely unacceptable & now I get to jump through hoops to get a refund!! How lucky am i to be a customer of hertz.

Booked a car here for my trip to Texas with my girlfriend and let’s just say , it didn’t go well , so bad we never got the car . I booked for a noon rental pickup and was told at the hertz desk at the airport “ they close at noon .” First off who the heck closes at NOON on a SATURDAY!? We showed up right at noon to no cars and locked doors . My guess is we could have showed up at 11:30 and they wouldn’t have been there . This sent us scrambling to find a car and uberingbaxk to the airport to rent a car at a higher price last minute because we needed to drive two hours to Austin for a wedding . If your thinking about renaming here DONT . I recommend National at the airport , they got us on the road in less than 30 minutes and they even upgraded us because they heard about our situation with this company . Don’t rent here EVER .

BAIT AND SWITCH- worst HERTZ location I have ever delt with. I rented a standard midisized car online. Showed up to the location- "we don't have any cars- all we have are EV's and SUV's". Ok- I guess I will take an SUV- "it's going to be another $150 from what your reservation says". Why can't you rent me an SUV for the price of a car since you dont have any cars, HERTZ website allowed me to select a midsized car. "Sir, your option is to pay another $150 and get a SUV or leave". Ok- can you take me to another HERTZ location that has cars? "No", can you call the HERTZ location 5min away at the airport and see if they have any cars "No sir- we are seperate from them we can't talk to them". Can you cancel this reservation- "no we can't- you can call our 1‐800# and they can cancel it". Seriously the most garbage rental location ever- most rental places will make it right if they don't have the car you reserved, happens ALL the time. These people at this location are horrible humans. It is almost like the get pleasure screwing people over.

Worst experience ever! This Hertz on San Pedro has the worse customer service you can think. No one was at the counter when I walked and I could hear people talking in the background. Another customer walked in after me and asked if I had been helped. I said "no" no one has. I finally said: "Good morning" loud enough for someone to come out from the back. RUDE man as could be. I had a confirmation number from Triple A as I had reserved through them. The man from Hertz asked for my last name and told me there were no cars available. He expressed they had "45 people on waiting list." I reminded him I had reserved ahead of time and had a confirmation which he would not even bother to ask for. He continued to say ASL and a holiday just happened "SO NO THERE"S NO CARS." When I asked if that's why no one at any Hertz answered their phones in the city he said, "I don't have any missed calls at this location." WOW! His attitude was unbelievable the other customer looked at me in disbelieve with this mans attitude! These people forget that it is thanks to customers they HAVE JOB! I needed the rental for a business trip, paid Uber to get to this location and paid for another Uber to get me home. I will be calling AAA and asking how/why they would partner with such a HORRIBLE COMPANY like HERTZ!!!!!!

Don’t rent a car from here. My boyfriend booked us a car here for pickup at noon on a Saturday. They had pickup times available all day and they close at noon. It’s a random location in an office park. There is no signage pointing to the location. The uber didn’t feel comfortable dropping us off here. He said there’s nothing here. Now we are going to have to cancel and pay $35 and try to find another car for our trip. This location should not be in business. Absolutely a bait and switch.
