Bre and Doug saved my trip and this experience. I was in town for my daughter's Air Force Basic Training Graduation. I rented a vehicle through Turo that broke down within hours. The vehicle was picked up from my hotel and Turo wanted me to find a way to the airport 30 minutes away to get another vehicle. They eventually would hang up on me. During military graduations, recruits only have so many hours with families, so every hour lost with Turo was precious. After two hours I finally called this Hertz office and Bre said she could help me and also said they could pick me up. Doug picked me up and within 15 minutes of getting to the office they put my in this really cool huge Ram 4X4 that nobody wanted to rent; we were on our way and we loved it!!! I was able to drop it off at the airport which made it even better. These two folks saved my day, and my trip! I thank God for them doing what they do. I have always rented through Hertz and Idk why I strayed away, I will never do it again! I am a Hertz customer for life!!!

After my car was hit State Farm directed me to a rental car. It offered a choice of Enterprise or Hertz. Since Hertz offered a Mazda 3 and I drive a Mazda I selected Hertz. No Mazda they said, never have Mazda. So first he gave me a Chevy Trax that after a half hour drive my back was in such pain that i had to return it. They swapped for a Nissan Altima with 33k miles on it, stained seats, filthy in and out. But the lady at the office is definitely first class. She does do a good job herself. For that I rated better.

1 star because there’s no option for a 0 star. Absolutely no help or care in the world from the man who helped us. I had a suv reserved for today at 8 am. I got there and he said I only have an electrical car take it or leave it. No trying to help or look for another suv. It was basically it’s your problem not theirs. Hertz do better, if you say you will have a type of car have it. Teach your people to be empathetic or help the customer to give options.

I left my vehicle yesterday, the employee was with another client, he took my key and said he would close it out and I would be sent an email. Turns out I call support next day, my rental is still open and I was charged $50 and they can’t seem to tell my why until it’s closed out. Over 30+ wait to speak to a representative on the way. Second when I picked up the vehicle it took almost an hour to get it and it wasn’t the car I wanted because they didn’t have any more of that kind. They have me an suv whenI only wanted a car.

If I could rate zero I would *it pains me to give a bad review*. I went in at scheduled time to pick up on Mon. Feb 23rd at 10am. As I got there, I asked for help from this woman, I told her I was there to pick up a rental car and she told me "We dont have the type of car you requested" (no care in the world, no apology...nothing). I asked her why and she said she just didn't have it and said all she had was SUV's and it would be an upcharge. I told her she should have at least called me to save me time and the commute, I literally could have just canceled the reservation. Im a easy customer to work with because I deal with many people in my line of work, however, her tone, no sense of urgency or care for the conversation is what was really got me. She said "we just got here", however the place had been open for 2+hrs already. I asked her if she could waive the fee to the small SUV since she didnt notify me "nope! Nothing I can do!" Meanwhile the other associate was giving the other customer the same news I got, but at least she was empathetic and caring, this girl did not care. As a district manager, I'm appalled at how this woman has a job. And sadly for this rental car location, they lost a really good potential customer. Had I received good service they would have made really good money off of me seeing as my job requires WEEKLY travel for 4-5 days out of the week. I hope this girl gets some kind of training/feedback/coaching or put on some kind of plan to do better because you never know the kind of business your associate is potentially turning away. Luckily, I went to a Enterprise and I'm so glad I did, a world of difference. This is the first negative review I've ever written, and its truly just to warn people, I dont like writing bad reviews and always leave positive reviews to places but this was just wild. Please coach this person, sadly shes making your place of business look soo bad and turning away good business.
