Had to wait for a bit in line before being served but the staff was friendly and I quickly got my car that I had booked in advance. The car was really dirty on the outside but the inside was totally fine, and the car was actually really new, with only 266 miles on it! No problems with my rental overall. (I also note there was a rare RX-8 in the garage! What a gem!)

Horrible experience. I booked an EV vehicle and was contacted this morning to be told none were available. That was perfectly fine and when I was making small talk and mentioned that’s what I preferred, the salesman with either locs or braids that were braided to the back tried to tell me that actually he did have an ev and I’d have to pay more for a gas car like I’m a square. I’m very grateful to Ola for not trying to scam me like the young man but please book somewhere else. I will never use Hertz again. I’m disgusted. Update!!! 5/31/26 Omg I hate this hertz location. Tried to do dollar rental to avoid going to them since it was close and almost dropped to my knees when I saw it was the same place. Was charged $75 for gas when I let them know that it was given to me with a quarter tank of gas and I was returning it with the same amount and they said that’s fine and I wouldn’t be charged. Lo and behold I was and I need to spend time trying to get a refund The picture with 183 miles remaining is how I returned it and they gave it to me with 169 miles. **also the team was in there bragging about upselling people on stuff for commission so they can go eat at Ramsey burger. I’m so mad but I needed this car to go home.

Had a very pleasant experience with the guys at this Hertz location. Needed a one day rental to get me from downtown to O'Hare (and do some shopping before my flight back home). Super friendly dudes. They apologized for the car being unwashed (due to the extreme cold their car wash had a malfunction). But the windshield was clean and the interior was clean, so no worries for us. Will definitely return next time I need a rental in downtown Chicago.

Consistently mismarking the fuel level and charging $10.99 a gallon, which requires me to submit a ticket with corporate for the correction. Be sure to take photos. Convenient city location otherwise, can have long lines but staff works quick and knows their stuff.

The Manager was extremely helpful when we collected our car. We decided to upgrade when we arrived and he showed us a range of vehicles and the anticipated cost of the upgrade. We ended up with a brand new jeep for our route 66 adventure. The Manager contributed to a fantastic holiday. Thankyou.
