I lived in the suburbs for years and stuck to my favorite Avis for a while. I moved to the city and decided to find myself a new Avis to frequent. I ordered twice from this location and so far have had nothing but great experiences. I take care of my side of the bargain and they take care of theirs with no issues at all. I think a majority of people run into issues when they don’t follow the clear cut rules and thus end up leaving upset reviews. The front desk attendants are straight to the point, the employees servicing the cars are helpful, and the layout of everything is pleasant. To note, you receive a QR code to leave the garage when picking up the vehicle. You can also drop off your vehicle overnight which is the best perk ever. There are parking spaces labeled overnight drop off on the top of the garage. You then drop your key into a return bin beside the elevator. Entering and exiting the garage can be difficult as there is heavy traffic both ways. Recently, I showed up late to my pickup and in which the Avis was closing up for the day. The front desk attendant was kind enough to stay open and process my reservation. I can’t thank him enough! Overall, I will be using this Avis from now on and I hope others do too!

Usually the car rental experience is a drag with hidden fees and droll customer service, this is not the case with this location. The staff specifically the representative Jose, he was quick, cordial, and extremely accommodating. He went above and beyond to find a car that suited my needs, had a clear understanding of the policy and how to convey the rules to the customer in a polite comprehensive manner. I lost my keys in the snow and he was more than empathetic, I've watched him hold doors for customers and just maintain a positive attitude throughout the service, this man is a positive face of this avis location.. When I had an accident and needed rentals this location was the most convenient.. make sure to always book online to get better deals .

Five stars, and honestly most of them go to Joe. Every time I come in, he makes the whole process seamless and treats you like a regular rather than just another customer. He's the kind of employee who makes you choose a location specifically because of him. Avis is lucky to have him and so are the customers.

The guys working there were actually nice but I had to pay extension fee because when I was trying to return the car after business hours I couldn’t have found a drop box. There’s no information at all where to leave the car and where the drop box is. I called customer service and they told me that they didn’t have any and I had to return the car next day and paid the extension fee. So I have already wasted 1 hour while trying to return the car, had to pay for the overnight parking and spent more on fuel plus I was charged the extension fee. The next morning when I came back to return the car, the stuff told me they actually had a drop box, just the customer service didn’t know about it. They told me they couldn’t wave the fee and I’d need to contact customer service and they’d do it but the customer service told me they couldn’t do it either. I’d recommend the location to put proper information about the drop box to avoid such situations.

This is the best Avis rental location in Chicago, the staff are incredibly nice and are always helpful. When you return your car, they also walk you through how to do so after hours. You can drive up to the 6/f of the garage, located across from Wild Fork. You get a ticket , park the car on 6 at any of the spots , then mark down your return mileage with the pen at the desk and drop off your keys along with the garage ticket Super easy, huge location and easy to find. Good car selection too Love!
