I’ve rented from a lot of Avis locations over the years, but the Clark Street team consistently stands out. Everyone is always kind, professional, and welcoming, but Chris deserves a special shoutout. Every time I walk through the door, he already knows exactly what kind of car I’m looking for and goes above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. That level of service is rare. As a President’s Club member, one of the things I value most is consistency. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that when I rent from this location, I’m going to receive excellent service and a seamless experience. The team makes me feel like more than just a reservation number, they genuinely care about their customers. Thank you to Chris and the entire Clark Street team for always making the rental process easy and enjoyable. It’s greatly appreciated and one of the reasons I continue to come back. If you’d like it to sound a little more “Catherine” and less corporate, I can make it a touch warmer and more conversational.

My favorite Avis location by far. And I use Avis often. Their cars typically come with upgraded features. The staff is the best. Courteous. Knowledgeable Fast. You can’t go wrong here. But make sure you reserve as far ahead as possible. It’s a smaller location with less inventory than airport locations

After seeing the many negative reviews, I was quite nervous about what to expect from this AVIS location. However, I received my car quickly. The only downside was that the car wasn’t cleaned properly (seats, rear end) and I got no status upgrade. Return at O’Hare was hassle free.

Did a return only at 214 Clark in Chicago. All went smoothly, Pleasant staff. One tip: the ramp to the Avis garage is in between two there parking garage ramps, and it is a single lane for up and down. Follow the signage and us headlights and honk horn. You may reach a closed metal rolling door which will be opened when you honk.

Absolutely the best car rental experience. Will definitely use again! They were friendly, efficient and got me on my way quicker than I expected. (I had already tried 2 other locations with long lines & wait times that were unable to fulfill my reservation, so this location was an especially pleasant surprise!) Thank you!!
