Thomas the previous manager was absolutely wonderful. He got promoted to another location. So today we met Anthony he was awesome as well. He was very accommodating and friendly! They always take care of us here. I am lucky I found them.

Hi Alamo Support Team, I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing regarding my recent rental from the Alamo Chicago Downtown location. On March 21, I booked an SUV, but upon arrival I was provided with a Mitsubishi Mirage, which is a basic subcompact hatchback. The vehicle received was significantly below the category I reserved, yet I was still charged the SUV rate of $60/day. I have rented several times from Alamo Chicago Downtown, and this experience was disappointing. Given the substantial difference between an SUV and a Mitsubishi Mirage—both in size and category—I believe a rate adjustment or appropriate discount would be fair and logical. Went in at 7am today to get a car and Mickey and Justin were Amazing. Very helpful, professional and friendly! Took what has been a few very stressful travel days and made it much better! Highly recommend them.

Great experience renting from here! Truly friendly and kind staff - rare amongst car rental places. Key considerations: - their entry and exit is the same one car wide ramp. Be extremely careful when driving in/out - They ask for two phone numbers when renting; not sure why - I found it cheaper to rent through Costco if you have an account
