Great experience picking up the SUV in LA, traveling through JTNP and DVNP and dropping the rental off in Vegas. Smooth process on both ends. Vehicle was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. Beautiful road trip.

My experience started off poorly, but turned around significantly due to the exceptional expertise and customer service at this location, plus no hidden fees make this a 5-star review. When I arrived, weary from a 16 hour flight, I was met with the unhappy news that all the systems in this rental area were down. It wasn't just them, it was the entire building somehow. So, they couldn't pull up things from the reservation system, causing significant delays despite the late hour. Burnita, the customer service rep there told everyone we'd be moving to paper forms, and she was actually pretty fast in writing these up for people. She gave every person who came up to the desk the attention they needed without rushing anyone, she remained cool and confident the entire time. The best part was when I told her that I got a "mystery car" special but to please not put me in a Kia Soul, one of the ugliest cars on the planet, she mentioned that they don't currently have any. "And if we had that car you can believe I'd upgrade you for free." Now THAT'S customer service. The car we ended up getting worked very well and was free from any problems. It got us home comfortably and upon returning it I didn't get hit with any surprise service charges.

Been a National customer for years now. Overall services have been really great and convenient. I would definitely recommend to all my friends. Although the prices can be better but having be able to grab a car and go makes up the difference for me. Note that I have lost a coat on the rear seat of my last ride. I have filed a lost claim (ref 23320493) and sent a message to the location but have yet heard back from them. Hopefully, I can have it recovered soon. Edit: National never tried to help recover the lost coat. Remember to grab your things before returning. Anything left behind is gone forever from you.

As a corporate traveler, I'm typically assigned to rentals via a different company, so being scheduled with National out of LAX was a surprise. My flight was significantly delayed and by the time I arrived, the emerald aisle had only a couple pickup trucks left and no other vehicles. With a long drive ahead of me, I made my way back toward the reservation desk to explore other vehicle options. I was engaged on the way by a polite young lady with red hair. She assured me more cars were being brought up, and just as she said that, a gentleman pulled up curbside in a gorgeous BMW X5 and got me on my way. The level of service is superb, the team is professional and polite, and I'll be encouraging the company I work for to use national more often. Thank you LAX team!
