Shoutout to Zakia at Budget/Avis for being incredibly helpful. We showed up a little earlier than our reservation and expected to just sit around waiting but she managed to get us into a car right away. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about customer service versus just trying to get people in and out and she was honestly great. The car was clean and pickup was fast once she handled everything, the whole experience was smooth. Big thanks for making a stressful travel day easier.

I came to Avis at the LAX Rental Car Center after arriving from Los Angeles Airport, and honestly the best part of the experience was meeting Sahak. He handled everything quickly, professionally, and with a genuinely friendly attitude. Even while the location was busy, he stayed calm, helpful, and very organized. What stood out most was watching how he treated everyone else around me too — not just me. He was helping customers fast, joking with people, keeping the atmosphere positive, and somehow making a stressful airport rental experience feel easy. You could literally see people leaving the counter smiling and laughing. Excellent customer service like this is rare. Huge thanks to Sahak for the great experience!

Calvin checked the fuel gauge as we were leaving the rental lot at LAX. The tank was less than half full. Calvin was able to note this in the paperwork so we weren't charged for extra gas. That's excellent customer service! Thanks Calvin and Avis!

At the time of vehicle pickup, I was not provided with the car category I had originally booked. Instead, I was given a smaller vehicle and was asked to return the following day for a replacement, causing me unnecessary inconvenience and a significant loss of valuable time. When I returned the next day for the vehicle change, I was again informed that the category I had booked was not available. I was offered an SUV instead, which was in poor condition: it was not clean and had numerous scratches and minor dents on the body. Although I returned the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and without causing any additional damage beyond the many marks that were already present at the time of pickup, I noticed an additional charge of €208.11 on the final receipt, for which I have not received any clear or adequate explanation.

It was our first time renting a Tesla and first time in LA. We were only there for one night and wanted to make the most of it. When we left the rental car parking lot we started noticing the condition of the car. It was dirty, beat up, not well maintained and it smelled like cigarettes and marihuan Also, we didn’t find out until the time to pick up the car that for the type of car we rented they only accepted credit cards for the deposit. Very unfortunate experience would not recommend to anyone.
