I’ve rented from National Car Rental at Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) four times, and every single experience has been outstanding. The staff at both the counter and the lot are genuinely friendly, professional, and proactive — something I rarely see at other rental companies. Two moments in particular really stood out and made me feel valued as a customer: Once in December 2023, I tried to look for a Toyota Tacoma. A young Black staff member went out of his way and actually ran over to the neighboring counter (same company group) to find one for me. That kind of extra effort is rare. Another time in Novermber 2023, I had a Jeep Gladiator that kept having issues with the gas pump clicking off early. I did my best to fill it up and reported the problem when returning the car. The staff member immediately and proactively gave me a $20 gas allowance without me even asking. Small gesture, but it meant a lot. I’ve rented cars dozens of times over a decade from almost every major company at airports across the U.S. National PHX is hands-down the best — no comparison. The level of service and warmth from the team here is consistently excellent. Unfortunately my company ended its corporate partnership with Enterprise Holdings in 2024, so I can no longer get corporate low rates. Still, if I have the choice, National will always be my first pick. Highly recommend them to anyone flying into Phoenix.

This was our first time renting a vehicle while on vacation. There were six of us so we needed a large vehicle and chose a GMC Yukon. It was very comfortable, good on gas and had plenty of space for us and our luggage. We truly have no complaints with the vehicle or the service we received from National. Thank you and we will definitely use your company again.

I had an excellent experience with National Car Rental at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. I picked up my truck on Wednesday, and the entire process was quick and efficient. The vehicle was exceptionally clean, and I was on the road within about 10 minutes of getting to my car. The return was just as smooth. I was warmly greeted by an employee named Billy, who handled everything promptly. He had me checked in and the receipt emailed to me before I even finished unloading my bags. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish—fast service, clean vehicle, and outstanding customer care. I would absolutely rent from National again.

The rental experience with National Phoenix Sky Harbor was seamless and easy. Reservation, pickup, and drop off are simple and without issue. The staff is friendly and helpful. The car selection is higher end than other competitors and very nice even at the base level membership. The price was not bad either. Overall very satisfied, would definitely like to rent with National again!

Renting a car from National at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix was a great experience! I had zero problems at all. The staff was wonderful...especially Big Mike when I picked up the vehicle & Lilly when I returned it a week later. Would definitely recommend their services to others!
